This gown is perfect for the newborn days as the tied tails at the bottom (why it’s sometimes called a mermaid gown) can make for quick diaper changes. Your baby will look adorable. It would also make a great baby shower gift and the perfect coming home outfit.
This pattern is easy to sew up and it fits from newborn (about 7 pounds) to about four months (about 15 pounds) due to the adjustable length (with the knot) and the stretchy material.
